Crystitudo's Emergence
"Light. Or...lights?" “Colors…it looks like. Many colors; so many colors.” “What is this I’m seeing?” “What is happening?” “And what…even am I?” Soon the light began to dissipate around the borders of his vision until at last all was clear—at least, in the physical sense. He turned his gaze from side to side, taking in what he could see around him. His vision still showed distortion, but in a different. It seemed he was encased in something…was it…a crystal? But, he didn’t have to wait long to find out, as soon he could hear what sounded like cracking, and then witnessed large cracks forming in the crystal to his left and right. The marks reached up above him, and the crystal he was cocooned inside split apart, his body falling onto the leftover heap of crystalline shards.
